My goal is to take the worry out of your taxes and make the process as painless as possible.
      My tax and
accounting experience before opening my own tax practice
includes preparing tax returns for an accounting firm,
a CPA firm, H&R Block, and a number of special
projects on my own. At H&R Block I eventually worked in
the premium office and rose to the level of assistant
district manager. I have also done general accounting
tasks and projects for a number of private
      companies.

My accounting degree is from the University of
Wisconsin-Green Bay which is known for the success of its
      graduates on the CPA exam.

In order to better serve my tax clients, I became an
Enrolled Agent (EA). Enrolled agent is a
title the Treasury Department has used going back
to the 1880s. Enrolled Agents, CPAs, and Lawyers are
referred to as Federally Authorized Tax Practitioners. Only
those practitioners have the right to represent their clients
in tax matters before the IRS up through the level
of appeals. The term enrolled is used to mean
registered and the meaning of agent comes from contract
law. To qualify you must pass a test that is comparable
to the CPA exam.  I have passed both. My focus
is on tax issues so I became an Enrolled
      Agent.

      The rest of
my work experience covers fields ranging from
      shipbuilding to photography.

Out of tax season my interests include kayaking, bicycling or otherwise enjoying the outdoors in the Fox River Valley. I have a passion for history and enjoy sharing that with our grandchildren. My grandfather was a contemporary of Curley Lambeau; so, my siblings and I all have Packer Stock. I have been a resident of northeastern Wisconsin my entire life.
